This workshop is designed to be a dialogue — the Q&A portion is sprinkled throughout the workshop, and you are encouraged to bring your questions and past dilemmas (and solutions, if you have them!) to the table.

For my part, I’ll offer some ideas about how you can help new or untrained actors give the best performance possible.  Things we’ll discuss?

• Listening onstage
• Verbs, and how they make the director’s job easier
• Organic blocking
• Freeing the fearful actor
• Freeing the blocked actor

If you have other things you’d like me to cover, it will take a bit longer, but otherwise, this can be done in 2 hours.
